STOP! Has Your Network Marketing Company Passed This Test?
"Choosing the best network marketing company for yourself isn’t easy. Most people choose based on that ONE product they simply adore." While MLM scams, pyramid schemes and ponzi schemes exist, there are far more well intentioned mlm companies with poor financial track records. Use these 8 MLM tips as a due diligence test for choosing between MLM companies.
1. Has the Network Marketing Company been around 5 years. Do you believe great MLM success occurs only with the latest network marketing opportunities? STOP! It’s not true. If you want your efforts today to be passive residual income years from now, pick a network marketing company that’s proven to have a long term track record. Harsh? With 90% of MLM companies failing within the first 2 years, I don’t think I’m harsh. Being a Malaysian means you have to be doubly cautious. Why? Let’s just say Malaysian business conditions may prove too challenging for international network marketing companies. Examples of failures are Enrich International and Oxyfresh. FAIL to get this right and you’ve wasted your time and resources. That’s one of the truth on MLM. Question - In the next 30 years, can these MLM companies be as big as Amway?
2. Is the Network Marketing Company Well Capitalized? In layman’s language - does it have enough cash investment in technologies, R&D for new network marketing products and paying your commissions. I’m partial to publicly traded network marketing companies like NuSkin and Amway whose transparent financial positions are verified by regulatory authorities. You know exactly how much sales is done and how much commission has been paid out. Here's a partial list of mlm companies. I’m not going to trade my passive residual income to private MLM companies’ financial claims. Big idea - I suggest you reserve any private multi level marketing business as your secondary multi level marketing opportunity.
3. Does the Network Marketing Company Offer Unique Products? What are the competitive advantages of it’s network marketing products? What does the product’s industry think of it? Are the products considered cutting edge. If the products are copy-cats, the MLM company’s survival may be at stake as consumers won’t be interested in the products. MLM Tip - What do independent reviewers think of the network marketing products?
4. Is the Network Marketing Company Innovative? Do the MLM company’s products fit into a Blue Ocean Strategy? Does the company always refresh it’s product range or is it stale? Is there a new product launch time line? Most people fall-in love with a particular network marketing product and expect to be a MLM success on that one product. You won’t get rich doing that. Any successful network marketing business constantly creates new ranges of products to push the MLM company to the next level. You want the momentum of new products your downlines consume and sell. This carries you to higher levels. It makes your residual income increase exponentially.
5. Are the Network Marketing Company’s Products Consumables? Ideally you want consumers to replenish your products regularly. Monthly if possible. Yes it’s nice to sell big ticketed items like water filtration devices. But the filters cartridges take forever wear out. To have a regular residual income you want as much renewable consumable products as possible.
6. Is Your Upline Committed? A committed upline will smooth your multi level marketing experience. It improves greatly your chances for MLM success. By upline, I don’t necessarily mean your immediate upline. Most immediate uplines fail. I mean you upline group. Is it successful? Are they always there for you? Everyone has to start somewhere. If your immediate upline or introducer is new, don’t be concerned. Your concern should be the sincerity and commitment of the upline pathway.
7. Is there a MLM system to achieve MLM success quickly? Network marketing companies play the 80/20 rules when they design their MLM compensation plans. That's how they survive. Ideally, MLM companies prefer you to be moderately successful, looking for consumers and other moderately successful business builders. That's the MLM game. Probably more than 80% of distributors fall into the network marketing company’s compensation plan trap of sales and maintenance. Make sure your MLM uplines are superstars who know the loopholes of the MLM business plan to accelerate your MLM success.
8. Can you build your business part time without losing your full income? I’m talking automation and technology. Consumable network marketing products require to be regularly replenished. Does the network marketing company have the technology and tools to assist in deliveries, orders and automation. Your MAIN task should be marketing, not sales and sales fulfillments..
